Bear found dead

A bear was found dead early this evening in the Mentorpia office in Pasig City. He appeared to have been stabbed on the groin and bled to death.

Adolfo Marasigan, better known as Adolfo and a TY bear of 2 weeks, was found dead by an office worker in the said company. He appeared to have been molested before being stabbed repeatedly in the groin. The victim was covered by half a newspaper and a bloody knife was found a few inches away from the body.

Police said it may be a crime of passion.

The victim was last seen alive on his guardian’s desk before dinner. His guardian, Denice De Guzman went to Megamall during their dinner break and when she got back, a police line was already set up around the dead bear. The only witness who came forward was a Jec Montemayor, 24 and the office’s head teacher. 

“Tinakpan ko lang sya kasi puro gore,” Montemayor commented.

Adolfo was also a victim of a botched kidnapping last Feb. 13. He was rescued from the pantry on Valentine’s Day. Montemayor is also the suspected kidnapper. Montemayor allegedly borrowed Adolfo from his guardian to take pictures. But after a day, when the bear was not returned, Montemayor denied the allegations of ever borrowing the victim. The case is still pending investigation.

An email from a Jia Alvarez was also sent to the victim’s guardian, bearing pictures of the dead Adolfo and the subject heading as “Serial killer strikes”.
